A few days ago we spent some time with an energetic local band, Nuthatch 47. Despite the frigidly cold weather, we trekked out to the river to get some shots of the guys doing what they do best: playing music and having fun, preferably at the same time. They are working on an album and official website as we speak, for now you can check out a few tunes here. My favorite is the Backgammon song. Thanks guys!

Last week Brandon entered some of his photos to an online contest held by some of our most esteemed colleagues. They are called the explore awards because the point of the contest is to share work that touches and inspires us, work that invites us to experience moments in a different way. One of Brandon’s photographs got picked out of hundreds of entries for the Experiental category–”images that make you feel something, inviting the viewer to experience the moment”. We are so pleased to be included in an event that celebrates the elements we love most about art and photography; it’s ability to express connections and experiences in a timeless and touching manner.
