We recently spent some time with the lovely Kathryn, who is graduating in just about a month. Despite the unpredictable weather, we had a great time getting some shots of her to remember this special time in her life. A little bit different than the couples & families we photograph more often, we had a blast with Kathryn, and took a more direct approach than our usual documentary style. Thanks for letting us play around and best of luck at MU next year!

On a personal note, some of you may or may not know that we are expecting our first child in a few short months. This is the announcement we have been preparing for the last few months, one of the projects (the biggest one, you might say) that has us overjoyed and excited. Yesterday my dear friend Nova(who is also quite pregnant) held a baby shower in my honor, and it couldn’t have been more lovely. Here are a few shots of the day (Brandon took some towards the end).. Thanks Nova and everyone for a wonderful afternoon. In addition, thanks to Liz’s excellent artistic abilities, our child won’t be wondering what a camera is. :)

Last year we had the great pleasure of capturing the wedding of Elissa and Brett with video, audio and super8mm film. The amount of love , energy & emotion expressed by these two (and their family and friends) continues to amaze us. Here is a little teaser of their day.
