One thing we have not focused much on in our 8 years of business here are in-studio portraits. Recently we had the pleasure of photographing a beloved family of ours in the studio and realized how much we enjoyed focusing on the expressions of our clients. Although we still specialize in documentary portraiture on location, we decided to host a day of mini sessions in the studio to allow our clients an easy way to get those spring portraits without all the fuss of a regular session. Introducing Short & Sweet sessions. Our short sessions include 30 minutes in the studio, 20 files on disc (delivered after the session — usually just a few days), and 20% off of any prints, books, or other items two weeks after delivery of your files. Email us today to sign up — only ten spots available!

One of the most rewarding things about being an image maker is the gift of documenting the same family over the years. The Patel family has given us this gift in not only becoming friends, but the opportunity to witness the growth of their lovely & lively family. Last month we took a few minutes to do something heretofore unchartered at Parigo Studios — an in-studio session. We have shot their family so many times previously in so many familiar locations to them, we decided to take the leap into the studio for something new. I for one enjoyed the fresh, clean studio as a way to focus on their expressions — and they had plenty of them!

We had a great time with Shelly, Liz and Isaac at Shawnee Mission Park on a warm morning in May. They brought their beloved canine, and spent some time doing archery– a passion of Isaac’s– at the range. Then we spent a good amount of time climing trees and wandering about (trying to avoid ticks!). It was a pleasure to get to know you guys.
